In recent years, there have been voices of concern regarding food shortages due to the growth of the global population, deterioration of the environment, economic disparity, and political conflicts. There are also apprehensions regarding how this will impact agriculture. At the same time consumer needs have been on the rise with demands for the reliable production and supply of safe, delicious, high quality food.

We believe that the development of sustainable farming methods from a new perspective and connecting this concept to the next generation is an important duty based on SPREAD’s mission “to create a sustainable society where future generations can have peace of mind.” SPREAD is tackling the problems related to agriculture and food through the innovation of vertical farms.
